November Highlights and Happenings: Thanksgiving Wishes, Celebrating Kindness and Annual Fund

Dear Reader,

As we approach Thanksgiving, we are reminded of the many things we have to be thankful for. November is a month when we reflect on kindness and gratitude, and we want to take a moment to express just how thankful we are for each of you—our students, families, staff, and greater community.

As we celebrate this season of gratitude, we are excited to be in our new home and are deeply appreciative of the support that made this transition possible. Your continued involvement and generosity help make The Diener School a special place, and we are truly grateful to have you as part of our community.

Celebrating Kindness

This month, we celebrated Kindness Week (November 11-15) with a variety of activities designed to promote positivity and make a meaningful impact. Our students took part in creating Kindness Rocks, which were placed in goody bags to spread kindness throughout our local community. We also took the time to write Thank You Notes to those who support our school and its mission.

One of the highlights of Kindness Week was our Kindness Week Challenge: "Fill Diener's Bucket." Throughout the week, students, staff, and families added notes to our bucket to share the acts of kindness they had witnessed in our community. We were so inspired by the outpouring of kindness, and we are proud of how our students, staff, and families came together to make a real difference. Thank you for helping us spread kindness far and wide!

Annual Fund and #GivingTuesday

As we continue to build on this spirit of gratitude and community, we are excited to share that we have recently launched our Annual Fund, our largest fundraiser of the year. This initiative is critical for ensuring the sustainability of our school and bridging the gap between tuition and the actual cost of educating our students.

Our goal for the Annual Fund is $150,000. If we exceed this target, any additional funds will be directed to our Capital Campaign, which aims to further strengthen our school’s future. Your support of the Annual Fund will have a direct impact on our students today and ensure that The Diener School continues to thrive in the years to come.

We invite you to join us in making a meaningful difference for our students and our school community.

Looking ahead, we also want to remind you of #GivingTuesday on December 3rd. This global day of giving offers a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the Annual Fund and support The Diener School. Your contributions, no matter the amount, will help us reach our goal and make a lasting impact on our students' education and future.

We are so grateful for all that you do to support The Diener School. As you gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, please know that we are thinking of you with deep appreciation. Thank you for being such an important part of The Diener School family.
