July Highlights and Happenings

Dear Reader, We hope you’re soaking up the final stretch of summer and enjoying time with family and friends! Here at The Diener School, it’s been a truly incredible few weeks as we just wrapped up our six-week Summer Camp, and what a fantastic time it’s been! Our campers had an unforgettable summer, blending fun and learning in true Diener fashion. From daily small group instruction in Language Arts and Math to engaging whole group Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy, we made sure our students kept their academic and developmental skills sharp, all while having a blast! Each week brought a new immersive theme, paired with exciting adventures and weekly field trips. Some of our favorite highlights included visits to Pirate Adventures, the Rock Creek Planetarium, Zava Zone, and of course, our much-loved trips to the county pool! On campus, we kept the energy high with Teacher vs. Kids Olympics, water play days, and tons of creative activities that had everyone smiling from ear to ear. While our campers were off making summer memories, the administration and leadership team has been thoughtfully preparing for the year ahead. When our incredible staff returns, they'll kick off a two-week in-service full of professional development, collaboration, and classroom prep, ensuring everything is ready to welcome students into a nurturing, dynamic, and joyful learning environment. We can’t wait to kick off the new school year and reunite with our amazing families, both familiar faces and new friends alike! Enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll see you soon!
