August Highlights and Happenings: Celebrating 20 Years Together

Dear Reader,

We hope you have enjoyed a wonderful summer and found time to relax, recharge, and make special memories with family and friends.

As we prepare to welcome students back to campus on Tuesday, there is a tremendous sense of excitement throughout the building. This year is especially meaningful as we begin celebrating Diener's 20th year. Over the coming months, we will honor the people, memories, and milestones that have shaped our community while creating new opportunities to connect and celebrate together.

One of the highlights of our anniversary year will be our 20th Birthday Bash on October 18 at Bretton Woods. We hope current families, alumni, former families, faculty, staff, and friends of the school will join us as we celebrate twenty years of helping students learn, grow, and belong. More details and a formal invitation will be shared in the coming weeks.

As we begin this milestone year, we are grateful to everyone who has been part of the Diener story and look forward to celebrating with you throughout the year.

Behind the Scenes: Preparing for a Great Year

While students have been enjoying their last few weeks of summer break, our faculty and staff have been hard at work preparing for the year ahead. Over the past two weeks, our team has come together for meaningful professional development, thoughtful collaboration, curriculum work, and plenty of creativity as they prepared their classrooms and planned for the students who will walk through our doors on Tuesday.

Our in-service time gave us the opportunity to strengthen our teaching practices, deepen our understanding of student development and learning, explore new tools and strategies, and think together about how we can best support each student. Just as importantly, it gave our team time to collaborate, share ideas, and build the strong sense of collaboration and connection that is at the heart of our school.

Our classrooms are ready, our teachers are excited, and our entire team is looking forward to welcoming our students back for another year of learning, growth, and possibility.

A First Look at the Year Ahead

On Friday, campus was buzzing with excitement as we welcomed families for Elementary School Sneak Peek and Middle School Orientation! Students had the chance to explore their new classrooms, meet their teachers and classmates, make new friends, reconnect with familiar faces, and get comfortable in their new surroundings before the first day of school. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back on Tuesday and fill our classrooms and hallways with the energy, laughter, and learning that make Diener so special.
