Dear Reader,

As we return from Spring Break and settle back into the school routine, we are excited to reflect on all the wonderful things happening at Diener and look ahead to what’s coming up! We recently hosted a Multicultural Event that perfectly captured the spirit of learning, creativity, and connection within our school community.

🌍✈️ Around the World at Diener: A Look Back at Our Multicultural Event 🌏🎉

Our incredible therapeutic team hosted a Multicultural Event that invited students and families to explore cultures from around the world — all without leaving campus! ✈️🌎

Elementary students engaged in multi-sensory projects designed to bring each culture to life. Whether they were crafting traditional clothing, sampling new foods, or moving to the rhythms of international music, students strengthened essential skills like fine and visual motor coordination, social interaction, and sensory processing through immersive, hands-on activities.

Meanwhile, middle school students took a deep dive into cultural exploration by researching countries and collaborating on group presentations. Each student created and presented their own slides as part of a larger classroom showcase, building confidence in executive functioning, public speaking, and cooperative teamwork — all while enjoying the fun of classroom transformations and trying new global dishes.

From games and music to meaningful group efforts, the event highlighted our students’ growth, imagination, and enthusiasm for learning about the world and one another. 🌏💬
